It is in a class of its own. If you fancy a special evening out but don't want to travel into town then this is the place for you. The restaurant is not overly large so it does not loose intimacy, it is cozy but luxurious. There is a doorman to welcome you. It’s a comfortable and stylish bar for pre-dining drinks. In December they had a superb girl on keyboard there, this I had to look the name up of again for you - Elissa Franceschi, truly enjoyable entertainment, her own work as well as better known stuff. The food is superbly presented; there is a wide choice, all prepared by their chef. Even a curry here is superb no artificial colours or too much fat, everything is well balanced and enjoyable. The colour scheme is neutral and warm and for intimacy you can always book a booth. Our only criticism is that everyone enjoys themselves so much that occasionally you struggle to hear yourselves think, but if the party season has taken you and you want a good evening out then this is definitely for you. They know their wines and food and the staff are very keen to please. All I can say is enjoy! It is a very welcome addition to Esher's restaurant repertoire and a breath of fresh air.
