Laze Daze Restaurant and Bar

If you've been shopping along the Promenade in Cheltenham and find yourself in need of a little refreshment, stop by at Laze Daze, an independent family-run restaurant and bar located next to the municipal offices in the tree-lined Promenade.

The dining atmosphere within the regency grade II listed building is welcoming and relaxed, and owners Banky and Helen always look forward to making mealtimes extra special with their great food and warm service.

You could unwind over ales, lager and wine in the bar or head to the courtyard for an enjoyable al fresco meal. Head Chef Banky, who is passionate about both food and football, serves modern British dishes that are created using local and seasonal produce. Among starters, toasted ciabatta and red onion marmalade partner with a duck and port pâté, and a sweet potato mash, minted pea purée and a sweet chilli and lime dressing help make pan-seared scallops a glorious starter.

Mains consist of slow-roasted Cotswold lamb shank with olive oil mashed potatoes and a mint-spiked roasted vegetable broth, and fillets of roasted red mullet on a rocket and pea risotto with salsa verde.
