Le Chanterelle Description
Within a recently refurbished 18th century cottage, this family run business offers Modern French cuisine to a very high standard of fine dining. Head chef Ryan Lamb uses only the highest quality, locally sourced produce, which is complemented by the extensive wine menu.
Everything, including even the sorbets and petits fours, is made on the premises. The high standard of food produced is reflective of Ryan's training at restaurants including the Michelin Star rated Le Poussin at Lyndhurst, Hampshire and The Chesil Rectory in Winchester. They offer a set priced lunch menu starting at £10 for two courses and a set evening menu at £35 for three courses.

We chanced upon this restaurant during a recent holiday in Dorset, and were very pleased that we did so. The quality of the food was excellent and the service outstanding. Unfortunately we do not live in the area, as we would become regular visitors to this restaurant. We wish Ryan and his team every success for the future.

We have dined at Le Chanterelle on three occasions and each time we have been thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The decor, service and food is simply superb and value for money.
