It is advisable to book at this charming French eatery, with outdoor patio area complete with heaters. Situated in a former grocer's shop, the proprietors have done well to retain the Victorian tiles, which enhance the busy atmosphere. At lunchtimes, there is a prix fixe menu (two courses for £6.95, or three courses for £9.95, or the excellent Sunday roast, which is priced at £13.50 for three courses. Food is traditional French bistro style, and you should find some old favourites on the menu.French
