REVIEWS OF Leeds Seventeen
Neil and Paul (25 April 2011)
We went here on bank holiday - Monday in April 2011. The place was very clean - all the staff were presentable and polite. The service was at a nice pace, neither hurried nor slow. We both had the scallop starter which was cooked to perfection. Both the mains were off the specials board, Paul had fillet steak and I had guinea fowl. Again, both were cooked and served to perfection. The only small thing I would advise is that the website menu may differ on the day to some degree. Not a bad thing as the variety is good and the food is spot on. Just to add, Paul and I are food snobs and I say that we like freshly cooked, locally sourced food at a reasonable price. Marks out of 10 would be 8.5 to 9. Coming at £70.00 for a three course and a drink made reasonable value for money.
S Smith (4 August 2010)
I recently organised a family meal for seventeen people at Leeds Seventeen. We were a mixed bunch, ranging in age from 11 to 88, but everyone had a good time. There are toilet facilities for disabled people and no steps. We were very well looked after and the food was interesting, beautifully presented and delicious. The generous portions of vegetables were perfectly cooked. The chocolate brownie was heavenly. The early bird menu was very reasonably priced, but other dishes listed on blackboards seemed to be fairly priced too.
