Left Bank Description

One of a little cluster of French restaurants in Liverpool, which in the eyes of some is a brave effort, though not infrequently falls short of what might be expected. Left Bank is towards the top of the pack but it lacks the consistency and crispness of approach that one would hope for. There is plenty of seafood here which is going to keep many happy, but in the long term only if it is treated fairly pre-table. The menu choice is large, some might say too large. A decent wine list with some interesting choices in the higher ranges.
