Leonis Latin Cellar Description

Leonis has established itself over the years as something of a local favourite, due to the mix of Spanish, Chilean and Argentinean fare, alongside Italian classics. Flags of various nations and memorabilia adorn the white walls of this bright restaurant.

The menu leans primarily the Latin American way, with mains such as chilli con carne, pollo borracho, tender chicken breast in a sauce of four different liqueurs, cream and pineapple, and swordfish grilled in olive oil, lemon juice and parsley. All their steaks are made from prime Argentinean beef, and the pizza and pasta section is worth investigating. The New World wine list is priced competitively.
