My girlfriend and I visited Leonis on Saturday. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic, in fact, outstanding. We would recommend the restaurant to anybody visiting Manchester. Don't forget dessert, the tiramisu was the best we've ever had - yum!

We were booked into Leonis as a party of four on a Saturday night. The restaurant looks great and it was very busy. The reception from the staff was cool to say the least. On ordering we were informed that steaks were off due to cooking problems, which affects the menu. We selected our starters and mains and sat back to relax. 45 minutes later we asked about the starters and were told ‘could we not see that they were busy’. An hour later we still had nothing to eat and asked again about the starters and told the staff that we have a train to catch, although this was difficult as of the three waiters we dealt with, two could not speak English. After another 10 minutes the starters came, my ribs were overdone some scallops were still frozen, when we complained, the manager told us it was our fault for ‘rushing them’ with that he grabbed our plates whilst my wife was still eating. That was the final straw and we got up and left without paying. It has great potential but needs new staff, and a manager. I have never been treated so poorly.
