Les Mirabelles

I have recently revisited Les Mirabelles, a restaurant I have used for some years and can only say that the standards have never waned. The ambience is very relaxed and intimate; when you book a table you have it for the evening. The food is excellent, especially during autumn when local 'seasonal' produce is at its best. The chef is also quite innovative, so there are always some interesting experimental dishes on the menu. The wine list has been assembled with great care. There are very few restaurants in the region with this quality at an affordable price.

I visited Les Mirabelles in Nomansland for the first time as a treat for my sister’s half century! It was recommended to us and can only say we were suitably impressed. The food was excellent - a hard find in this country. The location is fantastic, albeit it's next door to a pub which was the only downside for us as there were a lot of people sitting outside that used shouting as a way of communicating.
