Lime Tree Restaurant, The Description
A hotel restaurant in good style with lots of atmosphere and a 14th century provenance. It is hardly surprising that given the proximity to La France there are not more traces of Gallic eating in the area, but this is certainly one of them. How refreshing to see Tournedos Rossini on the menu along with many other inspirations from across the water. House wine from £14.00.

Ate here Christmas 2003. The food was excellent. The service was second to none. The wine list was very good.
Very friendly atmosphere, gives impression you are eating at home with friends and family. The pace between courses showed that there was no rush. The booking for the day was one sitting, but felt comfortable to stay and drink into the late afternoon early evening.
Excellent all round. Am booking again for 2004.
