Always a warm favourite, this impeccably converted house in West Didsbury provides a perfect setting for a business lunch or a bit of romance in the evening, thanks very much to the warm and friendly service and menu which embraces the whole world. Particular emphasis is placed on seafood and vegetable dishes and even straightforward items like a fillet steak with black pepper and cream sauce manages to have a special appeal. The wine list is no laggard in the world tour and will have heightened charm should your inclinations incline to Le Francais. House wines at £10.95, several available by the glass, with all mark-ups designed to encourage consumer interest.
