Little Bay - Croydon Description
Not many places in and around London allow diners to enjoy a three-course meal for the price of an average one course elsewhere. The Peter Ilic run Little Bay chain has made its mark in the area of flavoursome, good value food exceptionally well.
The distinctive décor delights most customers and surprises a few, with peculiarly positioned tables, coloured lights, gold foil edged maps on tables and cosy booths. Talented opera singers and live music make the dining experience unique.
A good way to start the enjoyment is by ordering a choux de crab with citrus hollandaise, tempting smoked chicken parcels or goats' cheese croquettes. A hearty roast chicken breast with sun dried tomato cous cous or grilled lamb steaks are among popular main courses. Pastas, sandwiches and salads provide for those who prefer something lighter. For a wonderful conclusion, consider apple cake, ice cream and custard, all three together!

I have been to the Little Bay on numerous occasions. I am delighted to say that I loved the experience. The decor was that of ornate craftings and royal colours that gave one the feel of being in a grand theatre.
The food is delicious and well prepared, and is served promptly. I found the staff very friendly and ready to accommodate. I am going on a special date this weekend and am just hoping that there will be a spare couple of seats in this extremely popular restaurant.
PS Did I mention the opera singer that walks up and down the restaurant singing with the most beautiful voice? Wonderful!
