Little Holland

Rob and Marielle used to live in Eindhoven, Holland, but a two week holiday in 1999 in Cornwall changed their lives completely, they fell in love with England and wanted to know more about the people, countryside and history, so the whole family decided to move to England to fulfil their dream.

In 2003 they bought a small restaurant in Bognor Regis and after a month of complete renovation of the out and inside, restaurant 'Little Holland' was born, which opened its doors in January 2004.

In the kitchen, Rob is in charge where he makes the pancakes in the old Dutch traditional way on a open fire in big iron pans in order to give them that real full and lovely taste; they have around sixty five varieties from the sweet pancakes with fruit and ice-cream up to the full dinner pancake with meat, cheese and vegetables cooked within the pancake.

Their ingredients are from local businesses and every pancake is made freshly to order. If you have an allergy, they can make a wheat free or even a soya milk pancake on your request. For the children they have a special VIP Menu placemat so they can colour that in while everybody is enjoying a drink.

Marielle is in charge of the restaurant and her motto is, "It doesn't cost you anything to be friendly, so service with a smile and some attention is what you will get". Maybe their attitude is why it works so well.
