The Living Room, now synonymous with great food and drink, excellent service and stylish surroundings, is a neighbourhood based restaurant and bar, situated in most of the major cities across the UK. The Living Room continues to expand across the country with further sites planned for Newcastle, Oxford, Cambridge, London W1 and London City.

Chill out, relax and sample the eclectic menu while lounging on curvaceous chocolate-brown leather banquettes and armchairs. Music is a highlight - the latest sounds from local musicians are interspersed with boogie-woogie and up-beat blues played on a super-stylish white grand piano.

At the Living Room, one can be sure that cravings will be satisfied with a diverse menu that features starters which blend Asian and European influences; stars include Char sui pork and noodle soup and Mussels steamed with coconut, chilli and lime and Duck spring rolls with a shitake salsa. Main courses include soon-to-be favourites such as Grilled lamb cutlets, fondant potato, sweet onion marmalade and Sea bass fillets with roasted red onion, crisp Parma ham & rocket.

The Home Comforts section of the menu includes old school classics such as Steak and Guinness pie and Fish & chips with mushy peas & tartar sauce as well as Bangers and mash. Signature Living Room cocktails are the award-winning Basil Grande, a blend of Grand Marnier, Chambord, fresh strawberries, fresh basil and cranberry juice.

The Woodford au pear, a mix of Woodford reserve bourbon, pear liquor and puree with cinnamon, and Raspberry Colonel mixes gin, sours, framboise, fresh raspberries and soda. Enviable locals can enjoy a long, leisurely New York-style brunch. An extensive menu starts with a traditional Breakfast grill or Continental breakfast, as well as brunch classics like Eggs Benedict or Florentine.

Heartier appetites can choose between a Sunday roast, a selection of salads or sandwiches like Dolcelatte, wild mushrooms and sweet chilli toastie while reading the Sunday newspapers.
