We found the Le Hari charming and candle lit, and the food fantastic even by gourmet standards. Their pork belly was far better than the fabled one at a certain DC cafe, and the simple lamb burger simply delicious. The menu is varied, with good wine, and this is the only review we have been inspired to write during this entire trip.

We ate at this restaurant two weeks ago, after a friend had recommended it to us and were not let down. The place looks fantastic, not what you expect in Llanrwst, and the food was great too. My husband had the local Welsh fillet and it was cooked to perfection with the most delicious gratin dauphinoise potatoes he'd ever had. My salmon with mussels in a champagne sauce was equally as good. We wanted to relax in the bar afterwards and had another bottle of wine to finish the night off. We will go back there again.
