Loft Restaurant, The Description
It's a pub, a brasserie and a restaurant - oh yes, and it has rooms. The dining room offers a good range of well-tried dishes, involving locally sourced ingredients as in game and seafood. The brasserie has a few major dishes but in the main goes for pasta, salads and sandwiches. Each has their own wine list - the brasserie's is short and workmanlike, the restaurant is much more all-embracing, with a good range of half bottles. A very drinkable selection of house wines come in at £14.25.
