Lombardi's Ristorante Grill Description

The current rise of the Merchant Square district in Glasgow is only one example of the regeneration of this fine city that has spanned the last 20 years. In a state of constant rivalry with Edinburgh, Glasgow has always known how to enjoy itself, even if this is sometimes seen to be too well, and it has never lost its talent for cheerful pleasure, which is where places like Lombardi's Ristorante Grill come on to their own.

Unashamedly Italian in its approach the menu offers dishes such as antipasto platter of cured meats, including bresaola and Parma ham, along with olives, peppers and a rocket salad with a spicy dressing. Then we have the well-portioned pizzas, expertly crafted, and calzones with the unusual meatball filling.

Traditional furniture and cobblestones all help towards that slightly casual frisson that goes with true grills anywhere.
