London Street Brasserie Description
Sometimes described as the only decent place to eat in Reading, due mainly to the presence of so many of the chains, LSB has acquired a good reputation for attractive food served in fairly minimalist surroundings at prices that won't over-strain the housekeeping allowance. The main menu is changed every three months and the good value £12.50 lunch menu every six weeks.

I'm a habitual diner at London Street Brasserie and have never been disappointed. The menu is simple yet imaginative, the decor clean and unfussy, and the staff are slick and unpretentious – something you might expect from a restaurant of this calibre. The location is fantastic as it is situated about six metres beyond the boundary of the Oracle Shopping Centre. The lunch deals are a bargain. The food is much cheaper, but you never feel that the portions are small or less care has gone into preparing each dish. Their selection of wines is fantastic, and if you think you're stuffed, do try and make some space for their amazing desserts.

Every visit to the London Street Brasserie is a joy. Imaginative food at excellent prices. I've never been disappointed with any dish I've ordered.
