Longfellows

Longfellows in Solihull is an elegant and friendly family run restaurant which brings innovative English cuisine to the fore. Dim lights and the different shades of cream and golds on the walls lend intimacy and cosiness to the atmosphere and it's well suited for small parties, family gatherings or romantic dinners for a two. The menu changes on a regular basis although you could expect to see crispy roast duck leg with wild mushroom and red wine sauce amongst starters. Further down, there's a grilled swordfish steak with pan fried prawns or breast of chicken stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in bacon. Puddings stick to favourites such as cream filled profiteroles drizzled with chocolate sauce and the drinks list is an eclectic selection of New and Old World wines.
