Longfellows is situated in the quiet village of Catherine-De-Barnes just outside Solihull and only five minutes from Birmingham International Airport and the NEC. It is an elegant and friendly, family run restaurant, which brings innovative English cuisine to the fore. Dim lights and the different shades of cream and golds on the walls lend intimacy and cosiness to the atmosphere and it's well suited for small parties, family gatherings or romantic dinners for two. In summer months, the shaded garden is a lovely place to sit down for a meal or a drink.

There are daily changes to the a la carte and fixed price menu although you could expect to see pan fried black pudding with apple and cider cream sauce amongst starters. Further down, there's a grilled swordfish steak with pan fried prawns or breast of chicken stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in bacon. Puddings stick to favourites such as cream filled profiteroles drizzled with chocolate sauce or brioche, banana and chocolate bread and butter pudding and the drinks list is an eclectic selection of New and Old World wines.
