Lots Road Pub & Dining Room, The Description

Large comfy leather sofas and rich dark wooden panelled walls make for a dark and cosy interior in which to lounge at your leisure. There's also the usual gastro pub mix and match style of wooden furniture. On the menu you'll find a varied choice of tempting dishes from the classic option of steak and chips or cottage pie, to more exotic fare such as slow-cooked lamb served with black pudding and a particularly fine horseradish mash. From the short dessert list the sticky toffee pudding is the finest choice to go for. Being a pub the choice of beers and wines is also to be recommended but don't expect a quiet romantic meal for two, this is a deservedly busy place.
