REVIEWS OF Louis Hungarian Patisserie
Luke (9 July 2007)
As I could recall the last time I have sited the place was over ten years ago for croissant and tea, until now when I just had to take a look again after a weekend outing to the centre nearby. The place has really changed for the better, not only would you see the usual suspects on the menu such as dobosh cake, Hungarian goulash but a whole new variety of what I now know to be Polish and Eastern European cuisine, the delightfully delicious zrazy, which are beef roulade-roll marinated and stuffed with smoked small pieces of bacon, onion and gherkins, which melt away in your mouth and bigos sauerkraut with smoked sausage were a real treat. Don’t be fooled by the strange names of the dishes, they have opened up a totally new sensation to my taste buds and a absolute delight in my opinion. I would be returning again to sample some more great tasting dishes. Thumbs up and keep up the good work!
