Solitaire (9 September 2007)

La Luna is becoming a firm favourite in the restaurant guides, often featuring in the top ten lists of Italian restaurants in the UK. Chef Valentino Gentile is an amazing magician with food. The display of the food was exquisite and divine, try the rabbit pasta or ask for the specials of the day, you won’t be disappointed. Danielle and the team downstairs offer warm and friendly service and the ambience-sophisticated and relaxed. The restaurant recently underwent a refurbishment and the end result was wonderful. I have eaten in the restaurant with friends, family and colleagues on numerous occasions and have delighted in acquainting my guests with this wonderful restaurant-all of them are now also regulars. Thank you La Luna.

The food and atmosphere are great - Danielli and the team offer a warm welcome with inventive modern Italian food and wine. I loved it so much I proposed to my (now) husband there!
