The best Spanish restaurant I have ever been to! The food and service is so good that we will make regular trips over an hour long just for a meal there, this is the only place we go for a meal in Liverpool because it’s just so good. So many authentic Spanish tapas dishes as well as some inspirational mixes based on Spanish and local cuisine. The dishes are also being constantly updated and there is always something new and interesting to try. The atmosphere is second to none, there are often many things happening at the restaurant from live music to dancing. Service is great, polite and quick; the staff are also not too intrusive and always let you enjoy your meal without constantly pestering you. If you need to know more about a dish they are also very knowledgable and happy to help.

The general look and feel of Lunya is great; it’s modern but not too modern with some nice personal touches like the art work done by the staff, a real nice touch. It’s also spotless and from the instant you walk in you can see how clean everything is, tables are cleared quickly and set up for more customers within a couple of minutes of guests leaving. Value for money I think is great, cost obviously depends on how many dishes you order but each dish is a generous size and can easily be shared between two if you fancy trying a few different ones. If you do go, try the cheesecake, it’s out of this world! There is a massive selection of wine available but as my wife and I don’t drink wine I cannot judge but each dish has its own recommended wine designed to complement your meal which I think is a great touch. This is definitely our favourite restaurant, I’m not a vegetarian but my wife is and there is a great selection of vegetarian dishes to choose from which, is something we always look for. If you are in Liverpool, close by or even if you’re not and want to try possibly the best authentic Spanish food you can find outside of Spain then pop in or make a special trip because you won’t be disappointed.
