Italian chains in particular aspire to take their food seriously and provide an authentic dining experience, but Made in Italy group takes this a bit further and is rigorously nostalgic about the Italian way of life as well. With a sprinkling of restaurants across London, each taking on a unique personality, what unites them is a pizzametro or a metre long pizza that brings several heads together, characterising conviviality.

This King's Road restaurant shares a name with the group, and here is where it all started in 1989 and was instantly recognised for its real Neapolitan pizzametro. Amongst starters, marinated octopus with rocket, cherry tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil and lemon, and fried squid and tiger prawns stand out impressively. The menu also includes the expected grills and salads such as char-grilled entrecote steak with sautéed porcini mushrooms and a selection of grilled Mediterranean seafood.

Their pizzas are made with freshly mixed dough and topped with ingredients that are mostly imported from Italy, ensuring authenticity.
