Made in Italy Description
Made In Italy is an Italian restaurant with a great reputation for its pizzas. 'Why are they so good?' I hear you ask. Well, it's partly the fact that they are made to order and cooked in a wood-burning oven.
There's also a great range of traditional and innovative toppings to choose from, but best of all is that all the different pizzas you order are simply served as one long pizza on a wooden platter, so you can share with friends and get a variety of different flavours, making it a popular place for larger parties.

We ate there last night and were told that the pizza cannot be served with a soft egg on the top! We felt the members of staff refused to listen to any comments regarding the head chef’s cooking. If you buy your pizza by the meter, the pizza base might be half cooked and the spread of the ingredients may be mixed up. The desserts of three tiramisus took thirty-five minutes to be delivered to the table. In summary, we think this place is overpriced, the service is poor and the food is basic.

We weren't quite sure what to expect, but my wife and I had decided to give Made in Italy a try after reading a couple of good reviews. It sounded like it could be our kind of place, and I can now say that it most definitely is. We were welcomed warmly by staff the minute we stepped through the door, and escorted to a table hidden away in the corner. The best plate was linguine belle donne with tuna and cappers, I have never tried something better. The food, the wine and every other aspect of the evening was top notch.
