Maison Blanc was founded in 1979 by master Chef and television celebrity Raymond Blanc and wife Jenny. The Blancs set out to produce real French bread for their restaurant Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons and achieved this by importing French flour to guarantee authentic flavour, texture and quality. The range of products expanded to include viennoiserie, savouries and famously, pâtisserie. The first traditional Boulangerie - Pâtisserie - Chocolaterie was opened in Oxford where it continues to thrive today, serving a range of delicious food. Visit them to enjoy a relaxed cup of excellent coffee and cake or a light lunch with friends. Maison Blanc now has 12 branches in the South of England, from London to Oxford and beyond, and caters for special occasions like birthdays, weddings and office functions.Maison Blanc was founded in 1979 by master Chef and television celebrity Raymond Blanc and wife Jenny. REVIEWS OF Maison Blanc - Oxford
RP (1 March 2009)
The food is simple but tasty however the service really lets the place down. I have been to Maison Blanc about four times. Each time it takes a little while to get served. If you want to order something else it takes a long, long time to get the attention of the wait-staff. If you eat here either order your mains and dessert at the same time or come with a lot of patience and time.
