Mak Syed Restaurant opened its doors to the people of Wallasey Village in 1991, and has since, become well known amongst the locals as a warm and friendly Indian dining destination. Syed and his three sons ensure the food and service exceeds expectations at all times. The menu features classics as well as Mak Syed's very own recipes. Consider a selection of tikkas and kebabs, billato moris or prawn stuffed capsicum, complemented by flavoursome malagatawni soup to start. Among classic dishes chicken shashlik and the much loved tikka masala vie for attention with curries such as the mild Kashmiri, creamy kurma, sweet and sour dhansak, and fiery Madras, or vindaloo. Mak's exclusive creations are protected by copyright, open with the Mak Syed Special and include names such as Bollywood Dream, Jewel in the Crown, Achari, and Badshahi Jinga.

I love Mak Syed and are on first name terms with the owners and staff who are all so freindly. The food is outstanding and i have never had any complaints. Both my family and i have spent many evenings just relaxing and enjoying their amazing menu. One of my favourite meals is Chicken Jalfreizi and chicken pathia. I also love the mixed kebab starter.

i love the food from here, its very good. i find the kashmiri exceptionally delicious, all the food from here i have enjoyed, the breads are fab the peshwari naan always has plenty of filling no skimping here. the staff i have always found very helpful and accomadating and cheery. my favourite resturant/take away on mersyside. fab!
