Makiyaki is a family owned chain of restaurants offering Japanese cuisine. The branch in Merton Road has chef Tony Kim at the helm and a large and varied menu to tempt all palates. On the menu you'll find the likes of beef and salmon teriyaki, prawn and vegetable tempura, an excellent range of noodle-based dishes and a sushi bar serving up delights such as squid, tuna, red snapper and salmon roe. They also have a choice of set meals to make choosing as easy as possible and they run a busy takeaway service too, including specialist party platters that are ideal for when you're entertaining at home. Great food and great service - enough said!

Today I went to the Japanese restaurant, Makiyaki, in Wimbledon with my friend. The food was fantastic and the green tea ice cream and the fried ice cream were the best. One more special thing is that the staff’s memory is very good. I am not sure if she remembered the names of all the guests, but she knew the names of almost all of them. The Makiyaki serves really good food and the staff are also very friendly. Therefore, I would recommend the Makiyaki restaurant.
