Malay House Description

The Lower Addiscombe Road in Croydon isn't generally known as an area of culinary excellence but at the Malay House you'll find exceptional Malaysian cooking, made all the more delightful by such unpromising surroundings. If you are unfamiliar with Malaysian food the more than friendly staff will be happy to guide you through the menu, that is based on flavoursome and filling soups, rice and noodle dishes and aromatic curries. Prices are great value for such fine food and on Sunday there's a special buffet priced at £7 per person that is well worth sampling. Also as Malay House is unlicensed to sell alcohol you are welcome to bring your own, helping to keep costs down.

Malay has now been taken over by a new owner and the quality has gone downhill dramatically. It’s really sad to see as this used to be a quality restaurant.
