To celebrate a family anniversary, we were looking for somewhere special for lunch. At Malyons we found it. This was immediately clear from the initial phone conversation with Rob Malyon himself, with whom we discussed possible options and subsequently agreed a menu for the occasion. On the day, lunch was held in the restaurant which has comfortable seating and lovely views over the golf course. The food was delicious; with everyone enjoying their choice from the menu which, for us, included both fish and vegetarian options. The desserts were equally tasty. Kitty waited on us and nothing was too much trouble. The bill at the end was very reasonable and Rob and Kitty were warmly thanked for providing the celebratory event that we had hoped for.

Several days after the event my wife and I are still enthusing over the celebratory dinner for 14 that we had last week at Malyon's. We cannot speak too highly of the restaurant members of staff who were impeccable hosts from start to finish. Friendly, courteous, relaxed and very professional they contributed a lot to the evening. The menu was planned in advance with Rob but he added a lot of extra surprises between courses and the food was out of this world. The cost was very reasonable too. Go there!
