By far the best Chinese restaurant in the Bournemouth area, possibly the whole of the South coast. Staff are excellent and food is some of the best you will taste. Don't get me wrong if you are looking for cheap, thrown together standard food, plastic tables and food being thrown at you in a matter of minutes, this is not for you. This is a relaxing experience that can last several hours, plenty of food to choose from, excellent wine, just an all round healthy dining experience.

Probably one of the best Chinese restaurants outside of London. I have been eating at the Mandarin for the last 15 years when I return to Bournemouth from London. The quality of food is second to none and the menu is great, offering a large selection of regional dishes. The family run atmosphere is still noticeable with very friendly service. For the quality of food the price is reasonable.
