A 'royal banquet' menu is best for sharing while vegetarians can look forward to a separate selection.
Signature desserts of honey mango served with coconut milk and sticky rice or lychee and lime-flavoured cheesecake bring the meal to a delicious end.

REVIEWS OF Mango Tree
Patman (13 May 2009)
I went to this restaurant yesterday evening for a meeting with a colleague from abroad. Having read some reviews but never been there before I figured it would be at least okay. I also asked them to try to arrange a table not too close to others as we had some business to discuss. The staff were fantastic without exception, from reception to the bar and then to our table, which was exactly as asked for and it was not random chance because they knew and asked me if it would be okay. Wine by the glass was good of its type but the food was absolutely outstanding. The fact that it was absolutely full to the rafters when we left around 8.30pm was heartening and the suggestion we move to the bar to make way for others, once we had finished and paid, was done with elegance and diplomacy. It’s a charming place with charming people who served us excellent food in a buzzy, lively atmosphere. It's not inexpensive but when I consider the rubbish I have had, for the same price in other central London restaurants down the years you can be sure I will be back to Mango Tree, and I am not, traditionally, the greatest fan of Thai food. No hesitation recommending this one on last night’s experience though.

This is my favourite restaurant in England. The service is wonderful and the food is traditional and well made. The fruit is fresh and the menu is great. I am a native to Thailand and since leaving the country I have found it difficult to find food that is authentic. This is the perfect place. If you don't like it, then you don't like Thai food.
