Manor Restaurant

Swallow Churchgate Hotel, Churchgate Street Village, Harlow, CM17 0JT

It is not every chain hotel that produces good food in its restaurants but Swallow has certainly done it here. All credit to Lee Acreman and his team. Go for the tuna nicoise with grain mustard and garlic followed by the cannon of lamb with stir-fry vegetables, rounding off on the wide choice of desserts. Pay around £22 for the set dinner. House wine from £12.75 with a fairly standard list quite widely drawn.
