Manorom is a small but perfectly formed Thai restaurant on Covent Garden's Maiden Lane. Once inside you'll find an intimate atmosphere and very pleasant staff. The menu is classic Thai with starters such as steamed pork dumplings, Thai fishcakes and aromatic soups packed full of fresh ingredients. From the main course options the Thai green curry is an absolute must as is the phad Thai, but other more unusual dishes also feature, such as honeyed chicken wrapped in pandan leaves with plum sauce. As with any good Thai restaurant there's the option of a set menu costing just £10.95 for a two-course lunch, or £16 for a three-course dinner. Reviewed by Linda Buttle

I was very disappointed with this restaurant - rather small portions, good food but not outstanding and very overpriced for what we actually received.
