Owned and run by Mikey Price and Joey Campanaro, Market Table at the junction of Carmine Street and Bedford Street in Greenwich Village is a warm, welcoming and vibrant restaurant serving modern Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on seafood.

Price's commitment to using seasonal produce is reflected in the numerous daily specials and the constantly changing menu but diners can expect to find a brunch menu that ranges from bacon, spinach and fontina scramble with whole grain toast to smoked salmon with dilled hollandaise and buttermilk biscuits. The lunch and dinner menus offer appetizers such as charred Spanish octopus, the intriguingly titled peekytoe crab salad and beef Carpaccio served with French fry salad, parmesan, egg and Dijon. Main courses include pan roasted chicken with asparagus, fontina fondue and burst tomatoes, as well as imaginative combinations such as pancetta wrapped pork loin, oyster mushrooms, Swiss chard and couscous. The exotic crème fraîche pannacotta make a good choice for dessert served with port wine macerated strawberries and pistachios.

The restaurant has a specially selected wine list that includes red, white, sparkling wines from Italy as well as cocktails and beer to complete your meal.
