The mellow lighting at Match does not detract the trendy elements from the atmosphere at all; if anything it makes the entire experience soothing and restful but with an underlying edge of excitement that is found only in the hippest and most happening places. This London group of bars has now spread its wings to exotic Ibiza and Melbourne but for Londoners, few places have gathered as much appeal as Match in the past decade or so.

They use only fresh and locally sourced ingredients but a look at the menu also reveals that it is seasonal and sustainable so full marks to them for being so environment friendly. Typical starters and snacks include skewered tiger prawns with bean sprouts and Vietnamese dressing while later on there's a char grilled flat iron skirt steak with horseradish sauce and fries and a classic dessert of English strawberries and cream. Drinks are served quickly with minimum fuss; expect some superb cocktails, an eclectic wine list and some marvellous beers.
