Matsu Description
The glamorous Matsu is one of the East End's first great Japanese restaurants. The trendy interior offers customers elegance and style and the popular bar area makes the perfect place to wait for your dinner date. On the menu there's the classic Japanese fare including crisp prawn and vegetable tempura options, delicious dumplings and filling noodle dishes. The open kitchen adds to the lively atmosphere, making this a fun and affordable eatery.

Your Reviews of Matsu
Gareth (1 August 2009)
Matsu is still one of my favourite restaurants. They have wonderful food, wonderful and relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The plum wine is legendary.
Cparents (14 March 2009)
The restaurant cannot cater for families with small children as they do not provide high chairs. My child fell out of her seat and the manager-chef stated that ‘they are not a nursery and not obliged to provide high chair’. That attitude and comment was uncalled for and it did infuriate us. So, be warned. As for the food, if anyone has had any proper Japanese food, you would find their food to be below average.
