Matsuri - High Holborn Description

Matsuri High Holborn, is the new sister restaurant of the old favourite Matsuri based in the St James' area. This new branch is very elegant and modern in its appearance with lots of clean lines and neutral shades, for a very pleasing effect on the eye.

However, Matsuri is a case of looks can be deceptive, not that the food isn't pleasing, just that the menu is based on deep Japanese traditional roots, with barely a modern twist in sight. Perhaps this is because of the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' mentality, so expect to enjoy simple but delicious sushi and tempura, as well as the delights of their teppanyaki grill.
