After having been recommended Max's Bistro by some of my partner’s clients, we decided that we would give it a try on our recent visit to Bristol. They weren't wrong when they said the atmosphere was romantic and even though the restaurant was full at the time on Saturday. We received just the perfect amount of attention from the fabulous waiting staff. Wine was recommended and it was spot on, but that was no competition for the food that was on offer - I went for the prawns to start then the linguini with chorizo and fish- full of flavour and just the right amount. My partner went for the stuffed pepper - a new treat for him, then the lamb - absolutely delicious and again he felt the serving was just right. A fully excellent experience and looking forward to my next trip to Bristol as we will undoubtedly be returning to Max's for dinner.

I've dined twice at Max's and on both occasions the food has been superb, the service excellent and the ambience highly commendable.
