Maze Grill

Maze Grill is located just next door to Maze, both within the Marriott Grosvenor Square, sharing the same entrance on the square, but that's where the similarities end. Designed along the lines of the more informal New York grill restaurants with contemporary design elements and warm atmosphere, the interior possesses a pleasing appeal.

Behind all the grilling action in the kitchen is Michelin starred Chef Jason Atherton, whose relatively unfamiliar method of line cooking is a pretty good indication of his exuberant style. The daily changing menu is big on sophisticated flavours, think pâté de campagne with piccalilli and sourdough bread, and whole baby sea bass with spicy couscous and goats' cheese. Steaks are undoubtedly the stars of the show, encompassing a wide range of different breeds and cuts, that include 21 day aged, grain fed Casterbridge, or a Wagyu '9th grade' gold style amongst others.

The Butcher's Block table at Maze Grill is made using a single piece of solid English oak, where 12 guests can have the pleasure of watching the bustling open kitchen.
