McKee's Brasserie Description
Formerly the destination for the patients of a worthy family GP, this family run hotel now offers hospitality to a somewhat fitter clientele. The focal point is the homemade pedigree of the food, including the bread, of which the good doctor would probably have approved. This is a style of cooking that requires either total confidence or complete unawareness and Haigs certainly does not serve up the latter. Do leave room for the Chef's surprise dessert selection even if you do feel the restraining hand of the Doctor on your right shoulder. A good wine list supports, house wine at £11.95.
