Meall Reamhar Restaurant

The fact that Meall Reamhar has been awarded 2 Rosettes by the AA speaks volumes about the quality of experience that you can expect there. They offer a daily changing table d'hote and also a comprehensive choice for vegetarians, whilst they are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements with prior notice.

Signature dishes include pan seared hand dived Scrabster King Scallops with Aberdeenshire black pudding and asparagus cream and gateau of Angus or Limousin beef fillet layered with haggis, red onion marmalade, whisky jus.

They boast an excellent wine list, with both old and new world wines, catering for all tastes and not too expensive, they also have a fine wine list, which might be considered by some to be even better value for money.

The restaurant has recently been refurbished by Graven Images of Glasgow and provides a comfortable dining experience, dinner and a roast Sunday lunch is served there, whilst daily lunch and suppers are available in the Tarken Bar and Restaurant, with good quality, traditional fare at reasonable prices. Closed in January and February.
