Mediterraneo certainly looks like an ideal venue for indulging in some rustic Italian cooking and with a picture postcard-like façade, walls adorned with artefacts and restrained lighting, the setting is well-suited to settle down for a serious Italian feast.

Dishes that waken the appetite include octopus salad with potatoes and cherry tomatoes, deep-fried squid served with spicy sauce, and Buffalo mozzarella with Parma ham. Then you could probably give your palate a breather with a pasta course of flat spaghetti with royal clams, garlic and olive oil, and ricotta and spinach stuffed tortellini with tomato and basil sauce.
