Mehek is an upmarket and classy Indian restaurant in Moorgate that has received plenty of accolades and glowing tributes from critics and food guides which has firmly established it as an excellent dining destination. Appetisers on the menu include hash tikka, breast of duck marinated in light spices and grilled over charcoal on the tandoor. Chicken is simmered in a medium spiced tangy Goan curry sauce made of coconut and red chillies, while a more elaborate main course comes in the form of raan e jalfrezi, when leg of lamb is sliced and treated with a blend of special spices and stir fried with green chillies, ginger, onion, peppers and coriander.
