Memories of India Description

Chelsea's Imperial Wharf is the waterfront setting for Memories of India on the River, a strikingly decorated modern restaurant with tangy regional Indian cuisine on the menu. The dramatically-lit interior with its snug amber leather booths and banquettes and tropical palm trees is as smartly stylish as the inspired selection of food.

While there are the expected lists of tandoori fare and the popular kebabs and biryanis, the menu flaunts a creative section which is intriguing. It offers interesting and original dishes like lamb chops cooked in honey and soya sauce, served with spinach, potatoes and mushrooms and lemon sole dipped in a blend of spices with mango extract, garlic and red mild chili and served with baby potatoes and saffron rice. Vegetarians have plenty of choices too.

Your Reviews of Memories of India

Monty (19 February 2007)

I would like to take time out and tell everyone about the Memories of India Restaurant in Thornbury Road in Osterley, Middlesex.

We had a family meal yesterday 18th Feb in the evening. There was a group of twelve. The restaurant was welcoming in both the décor and the mannerism of the staff. The food was authentic and very tasty and the flavours were balanced to tantalise your taste buds.

To top it all the staff were pleasant and very attentive to all our needs. I would like to congratulate Mr Ubed Khan and all the staff for making our evening very enjoyable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food in a pleasant environment.

Avihood Cohen (20 July 2004)

As a person who admires Indian food I've eaten at this restaurant a couple of times and I would recommend it to everyone who’s looking for Indian food in London. The service was great as well as the food.
