MemSaab Description

A first class Indian, winner of Best Indian Restaurant in the 2006 Nottingham Restaurant Awards, with a great local following and a varied menu which offers up not only so many of the old favourites but others which you may well not have come across before. Experimentation is the name of the game here.

The décor is sharp and a welcome change from the flock wallpaper and swirling little fountains. If this means upping the price a little, so be it. The opportunity to enjoy a superbly cooked and presented Indian meal in civilised surroundings is one that does not occur too often but MemSaab has done it.

I eat at this restaurant whenever I am on business in Nottingham. The food is always excellent with fantastic service and some very well cooked unusual dishes. You could try the delicately spiced sea bass with masala avocado and melon salad on a warm summer evening. I am not surprised that this place has won the ‘Best Indian Restaurant in Nottingham’ for past three years. I recommend this place.

Has the chef at MemSaab changed? I feel the quality of food and taste has really gone down. Can someone please look into this and go back to what they were before?
