Menier Chocolate Factory Description

Transformed from a chocolate factory to a centre for the performing arts the Menier offers decent food of the pre and post performance variety in a setting which is nothing short of a miracle, given the previous useage of this handsome building. Amongst the food on offer be sure not to miss the authentic (in the best sense) burgers, a Caesar salad with which our transatlantic cousins would be fully at home, and the roast rump of lamb with sweet potatoes. A Lancashire hot-pot is the nearest thing I have come to real thing outside of the county and the apple cobbler with cream will help avert starvation until after the show. Lunch is served Monday-Friday, dinner Tuesday-Saturday.
