Metro Brasserie & Restaurant Description

Metro Brasserie and Bar is a cool and uncluttered restaurant split over three levels in Edinburgh's Apex International Hotel. Overlooking the historic Grassmarket, the bright interior, with its timber-lined ceiling and blue slate floor, has a relaxed, informal ambience.

It offers various classic and contemporary dishes, with several fixed price options including one for children; their Sunday menu is particularly popular too. This bar and brasserie is a comfortable blend of a relaxed atmosphere with efficient service, making it a pleasant place to linger over coffee with friends, have a business lunch or just unwind after work. Having eaten here twice recently I can unreservedly recommend the quality of the food. Service was friendly and efficient and the prices were quite reasonable. I consider it one of the best places to eat in Dundee.
