Very disappointing! The food was pretty dire and the service terrible. The starter was tasteless and my meat was tough with a nondescript sauce. My wife's pasta had clumped together into a stodgy lump making me think it must have been reheated old pasta. The prawns were like rubber bullets. The worst was the owner's reaction – ‘go eat somewhere else then’. Poor food, rude man and poor value.

The food was absolutely top notch even though you're in a cellar. It was really buzzing and fully booked on a Monday evening in April. This was possibly the best Italian I've been to in the last umpteen years, so try it.
