Mezzanine Description
Opinions seem to be rather divided on the merits of this restaurant, which mainly services theatre goers for The National Theatre on the South Bank, as The Good Food Guide 2003 rates it highly enough to include it in the Round Up section, stating that 'the buzz of the restaurant continues to please, and the menu, with its vegetarian and fishy emphasis, is seemingly planned to avoid post-prandial drowsiness'. However, Harden's feels that standards have slipped badly; I know which one that I trust! The deal is a very simple and straightforward one, at £17.95 for 2 courses, and an extra £2 for three; while dishes like soft herb risotto, Thai shellfish or cardamom and rosemary lamb rump continue to please.
