Sandrine and Stephane Savorgnan warmly welcome customers to their restaurant situated near the Montparnasse district train station. Long summer afternoons can be spent in the terrace that offers a view of the Place Catalogne fountain.

The Savorgnans have plenty of respect for traditional French cooking and the menu gives customers an opportunity to sample Southern French market dishes, all with an enduring touch of Provence.

Starters of mesclun salad come to the table with tomatoes, Parmesan shavings and artichokes; pressed beef cheek confit appears with ravigoté sauce, and smoked salmon is served with celery rémoulade. A main course of veal stir-fried in basil is accompanied by mashed potatoes while roast guinea fowl can be had with carrot mousse, all complemented by a good range of wines.

Desserts of crème brûlée or dark chocolate with frosted vanilla help end proceedings.
